There is a wealth of 20th-century
Italian music for voice and piano (Italian art songs, which are called liriche),
as well as solo and chamber music utilizing the voice, that has been
unjustly neglected.
Soprano Stacey Mastrian has been
studying and performing 20th- and 21st-century Italian vocal music on both
sides of the Atlantic since 2001. She is dedicated to making it
known through her:
