Northwest Folklife Festival 2017

The Ecco Chamber Ensemble, a trio composed of soprano Stacey Mastrian, flutist and composer Sarah Bassingthwaighte, and guitarist and composer Mark Hilliard Wilsonwhich works to build concerts around the intersection of art and social changerepresenting Second Inversion, performs at the Center Theater in the Seattle Center Armory on the opening evening of the festival.  Featuring works from Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Turkey, and the U.S., including the world premiere of Stephen Lilly's Shifting Power.
