Masterclass and Recital

Dr. Stacey Mastrian gives a voice masterclass from 6:00-7:00 pm, and then after a reception, performs a recital at 7:30 pm of songs and arias with pianist Ta Wei Tsai and special guest Becca Cantrell. 

Featuring solos and duets by Brahms, Donizetti, Faure', Massenet, Mendelssohn, Mozart, Purcell, Schubert, J. Strauss, and R. Strauss. 

Donations will benefit a local charity helping the homeless.

Performances at the the Fleischer Memorial in Philadelphia, PA and the DiMenna Center in NYC of Lost in the Woods, a percussion opera written for soprano Stacey Mastrian and the Akros Percussion Collective during the Thoreau bicentenary -- music by Christopher Shultis, with a libretto based on civil disobedience and nature texts by Henry David Thoreau, video by Hee Sook Kim.
